The QDG committee has a number of upcoming vacancies that need to be filled. We are currently seeking applications for the following positions:

• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Tour Director

Queensland Disc Golf is a wholly volunteer-run incorporated not-for-profit organisation, whose mission is the development and growth of disc golf in Queensland. Clubs are the mainstay of this mission, and QDG is focussed on the initiation of new, and the support of existing clubs. 

Current focus of QDG is on:

• Building a renewed club around the Collingwood Park course & the Ipswich area
• Continued support of SCDGC to secure a permanent public course
• Support of the fledgling FNQDGC around the course in Townsville & proposed courses in Cairns
• Support for a potential Redlands club based at the new Alexandra Hills course
• Support for initiatives in Gold Coast, Pomona, Bundaberg, & Whitsundays
• Inter-club tournaments 

Growth & development includes skills, and sessions are proposed to assist players & volunteers in:

• Running tournaments
• Advanced throwing & game strategy
• DG rules

The recent position holders will be available to assist appointees to get familiar with the roles.
